Obituary

Stephanie was born in Boise, Idaho and raised in southeast Boise.  She attended Liberty Elementary, Les Bois Junior High, and graduated from Timberline High School, Class of 2000.  Throughout her childhood, she was active in soccer, gymnastics, and volleyball.  She attended BSU and the University of Utah, and lived in Park City for several years, where she met some wonderful life-long friends.  She settled back in Boise in 2008.

While working at Old Chicago, she met the love of her life, Mat Miller.  She and Mat welcomed their beautiful son, Easton, into the world in December, 2009.  Mat, Stephanie, and Easton spent the past 14+ years together, enjoying everything outdoors – they love camping, fishing, paddleboarding, and just hanging out with nature.  Stephanie was a wonderful cook and truly enjoyed cooking for her “boys.”  She enjoyed being a Mom – she loved watching Easton play soccer, hockey, baseball, bowling and now football.

Stephanie is survived by her loving partner, Mat Miller of Boise; her son Easton Miller of Boise; her parents, Paul and Anne Niemsyk of Meridian; her brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Christa Niemsyk of West Jordan, Utah, and their children Kenley and Liam; Mat’s parents, Wally Miller and Deanna Miller of Midvale, Utah; Mat’s brother Greg Miller, and his daughter Mercedes, of Midvale, Utah.  She is survived by her Aunts and Uncles:  Therese Organist of Wisconsin, Nancy Zimmerman of Buhl, Barb Hackett of Connecticut, Kevin Hackett of Boise, Beccie Hackett of Boise, Tracy and Todd Blakeman of Boise, and Sean and Melissa Hackett of Middleton.  She had a large and mighty cousin crew:  Jill Nore, Megan and Paul Leftwich, Kelly and Keegan Coderre, Tom and Stephanie Hackett, Sam and Kathy Hackett, Drew and Cassie Hackett, Jenny McBride, Kylee McBride, Justin Hackett, Shelbie Hackett, Cassidy Hackett, Maddie and Chase Vandenberg, Brianna Hackett, Rick Organist, Kathy Nolan, and Jim Organist.

Stephanie lived large and loved hard.  She had a wonderful laugh, and a heart of gold.  May your memories of her make you smile.  Be kind to one another.  That is all she would have wanted.

Steph and Jeret

I don’t know what to say.
