The focus of this year's Suicide Prevention Week Press Conference will be: The Suicide Prevention Week Proclamation from Mayor Bieter, an update on Idaho’s Suicide Prevention Hotline (since its launch at a press conference in 2011 hosted by Mayor Bieter and The Speedy Foundation), update on the newly formed IDHW Suicide Prevention Program, and an update from the statewide coalition of private and public sector partners advocating for suicide prevention, training and education. Materials and resources from partners will be available as well as a list of events and programing taking place in our community.
